  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • This work aimed to carry out a preliminary feasibility study on the potential for granting
a property institute, that is, a Collective Brand (MC), which identifies and differentiates
the products manufactured by the Cooperativa da Agricultura Familiar de Conceição do
Coité - COOPAFAM. It is worth highlighting that the city has been recognized for
showing significant growth in the family agroindustry sector and stands out in the
production of products from cassava farming, with beiju as the leading product, in
addition to the production of butter, biscuits, sequilhos, honey, sweets, among other
products. Therefore, a collective brand presents itself as a possible innovation strategy,
since this intellectual asset can generate results. The general objective of this study was
to map and evaluate, together with the community, the potential for granting a collective
trademark to COOPAFAM and the municipality of Conceição do Coité, in order to
provide access to information about the trademark registration process. , as well as
supporting a preliminary feasibility study that will serve as a consultation basis for other
entities representing the community. Regarding methods, activities were carried out
related to: 1) Systematic Literature Review (RSL) on the concepts of innovation, 2)
theoretical-methodological focus on the Basket of Territorial Goods and Services
(CBST), 3) intellectual property 4) brands and collective brands; 5) technical visits and
business meetings were carried out; 6) documentary and structural verification of the
cooperative regarding compliance with legality and analysis of possible needs for
changes to enable the granting of the collective brand; 7) mapping of all production to
identify production centers and classify types of agroindustry; 8) survey of product
distribution and marketing dimensions; 9) as well as verification of commercial practices
in operation. And in compliance with the scope of the work, the following products were
delivered: Conclusive Technical Report, SWOT/FOFA Matrix, CANVAS Business Model
and the submission of a scientific article in the Cadernos de Prospecção Magazine.
Regarding the results found, possible paths to promote innovation in the local
agroindustry and in the municipality were identified, as well as real possibilities of
enabling the recognition and registration of a collective brand with the National Institute
of Industrial Property (INPI), and the structuring of projects in light of the CBST
approach, which aims to identify and explore the quality intellectual resources and
    assets of this territory

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • The protection given to intellectual works created by artificial intelligence systems – whether without direct human interference or in collaboration with humans – is a controversial issue at a global level, including at the center of recent administrative and judicial controversies in patent offices and courts of some of the world's largest economies, in which the existence of protection, within the respective national legislation, of intellectual property on these creations is debated. This legal uncertainty, which is reflected in Brazil, reveals the inadequacy of current regulations to the reality of creative artificial intelligences and can be a strong disincentive to investments in these kinds of creations and, consequently, in innovation and development, especially considering the potential of these systems as innovation boosters. Based on the understanding that the lack of adequate protection for artificial intelligence creations is harmful to technological and social progress, we seek to present a possible solution to this issue, proposing an amendment to the proposal for a “Legal Framework for Artificial Intelligence”, according to the approved text by the Chamber of Deputies ("Sub-Amendment to Bill No. 21/2020&quot, with the aim of regulating the matter - which was not included in the aforementioned bill, establishing rules that protect both artistic, literary and scientific creations, as well as inventions and utility models generated by artificial intelligence systems. For this, the inductive method was used, through a research with a qualitative approach and bibliographic technique, seeking individual positions in the doctrine, in the decisions of the public power and, to a lesser extent, in the existing regulations for, from these positions, elaborating proposals for general rules that are considered adequate to regulate the matter in the Brazilian legal system.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • In the context of the Knowledge Age, innovations take on greater importance as they
contribute to companies' access to new markets, as well as new partnerships adding
value to their brands. There are several concepts around the possibilities of creating
and innovating. The protection of Intellectual Property (IP); therefore, becomes an
element that promotes the economic development of many countries and gains more
and more prominence in organizations, being able to reduce uncertainties in the
economic scenario and encouraging leaders to continue innovating. This work aims
to disseminate the culture of intellectual property as a tool for strengthening the
innovation ecosystem in SESI / BAHIA. In order to carry out the work, microcontents
were developed in media for dissemination, made available in a virtual study
environment containing also: evaluation questions, complementary material and
useful links to access content on the topic, thus forming the format of a distance
education course without monitoring. What is considered opportune is the
dissemination of introductory knowledge about IP, which makes it possible to look at
the assets produced in SESI / BAHIA projects and which may be available to teams
on the institution's existing distance education platform, expanding the reach of the
dissemination of content even to units in the interior of the state and Brazil.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • This work aimed to disseminate the Intellectual Property area at Bradesco Seguros,
through a conclusive technical report on the protection of corporate brands, which will
subsidize the training of insurance brokers linked to this company on the subject, with
the objective of making that they acquire the necessary know-how to protect their
assets through trademark registration. Its construction was based on five
methodological steps. The first referred to the Systematic Literature Review and
understood the state of the art in relation to existing journals on the subject. The second
dealt with prospecting the INPI, SEBRAE and WIPO portals and mapped legislation
9.279/96 that provides for trademarks in Brazil, as well as courses currently available
on the subject were verified. The third stage examined the jurisprudence bases of the
STF and JusBrasil and identified judgments of companies that litigated for trademark
patents. The fourth stage presented the draft of the conclusive technical report, the
final product generated by this research, and the fifth stage referred to the construction
of the report, in full. As a result, the innovative activity of this project was verified, since
among the 3,446 journals found during the RSL, as well as after mapping the bases of
WIPO and SEBRAE that identified 03 courses available on brands in the market, it was
observed that there are no periodicals or training programs covering this work theme,
aimed at insurance brokers. Based on this survey, it is estimated that Bradesco
Seguros will train the public of 31 thousand entrepreneurs on the subject and that those
who have not yet done so will register their brands with the INPI.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • The objectives of this study were to research, collect data and analyze the scenario of production, dissemination and transfer of Intellectual Property (IP) assets in the Technology Innovation Centers (NITs) of public Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), as well as to develop a manual of marketing strategies for the dissemination of IP generated by NITs to the market, with a view to improving university-company interaction and contributing to technology transfers. The use of marketing strategies in the technology transfer (TT) process is justified by the fact that the number of technology transfer contracts in the NITs of public HEIs is still incipient according to research in FORMICT, FORTEC reports and the INPI database, revealing the need for strategies to promote these IP assets. It was observed that although NITs have over the years structured their innovation policies in order to comply with the 10 core competencies of NITs set out in Law No. 13,243/2016, and have increased their intellectual property assets over the years, technology transfer indicators have not yet achieved satisfactory results. The study was based on bibliographical research and documentary review. The methodology used was exploratory with a qualitative approach, and a documentary review was carried out on FORMICT reports, FORTEC, the INPI database and direct consultation with the NITs of public higher education institutions in the state of Bahia, in order to gather data on IP assets and TT contracts for the period between 2016 and 2022. The documentary review was also carried out on the digital channels of the same NITs (websites, technology showcases and social media) in order to carry out a marketing diagnosis and analysis of the dissemination of IP on these channels. The results of the study showed that the number of TT contracts signed by the NITs surveyed is still low in relation to the volume of IP generated. Of the 12 institutions surveyed, only three - UFBA, UESC and UNEB - have TT contracts in force. With regard to the use of digital channels to promote IP, it can be seen that the NITs surveyed are generally present on the main social networks, but have exploited their full potential to disseminate IP and only two of the NITs surveyed have a technology showcase. Therefore, the strategies developed in this work can help NITs promote their IP to the market and establish strategic partnerships for TT. The products of this work are the "Technology Marketing Manual", the IFBaiano technology showcase, and the technical-scientific database of IP and TT in the NITs of the public HEIs in the state of Bahia (2016-2022).

  • A biodegradable product has a high added value, since after use it becomes a waste that degrades, causing less damage to the environment, and can be an efficient solution for the disposal and treatment of waste, in some cases it has a low cost and be framed as eco-frendly. In view of this, the present study aimed to carry out a technological prospection of wet wipes made of vegetable fibers and to present some vegetable fibers grown in Brazilian territory. An analysis of scientific productions related to the issue was carried out and that could bring potential inputs for the production of biodegradable wet wipesKeyword: Vegetable Fiber; Biodegradable Scarf; Wet Wipe. A qualitative and quantitative methodology based on patent research in the Espacenet database was used in search of patents for wet wipes made with vegetable fibers and bibliographical research in the bases of Capes, Scielo and BDTD articles, with a selection of materials that addressed vegetable fibers grown in the country. By means of the main terms: moistened tissue or biodegradable tissue and vegetable fiber, the results found and selected showed that the patenting of inventions in this segment grows from 2005. It was identified that the fiber of Bamboo, a plant of the subfamily Bambusoideae was used in more than 83% of patents, all of Chinese origin. It is noted that few vegetable fibers were explored, which demonstrates that there is still a wide field of natural raw materials to be explored in the development of biodegradable wet wipes. It was found that in Brazil there is no registration of patents for biodegradable wet wipes. In short, it was concluded that there is a trend towards the production of biodegradable wet wipes and that Brazilian companies in the segment of hygiene products and textiles can take advantage of Brazilian biodiversity as a favorable factor to promote innovation in this product. Pineapple, banana, bamboo, sugar cane, coconut, curauá and eucalyptus fibers were considered as potential inputs for the creation of handkerchiefs.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • Biobusiness are ventures in which life sciences and biotechnologies operate in various sectors of the industry, promoting disruptive solutions through products and processes derived from natural resources and waste to foster sustainable development. From this perspective, a healthtech has been established with the purpose of commercially viable innovative biocuratives for wound healing. The products in question possess inventive activity as they present a new association involving Natural Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and residues derived from byproducts as raw materials, thus being considered sustainable products with high added value. The aim of this study is to propose the modeling of a bioenterprise within a healthtech that is based on sustainable biocuratives. This research is considered descriptive as it extensively explains the scientific and technological route of biocuratives through prospective studies of articles and patents, as well as the development of an innovative and low-cost sustainable product. It is also an applied research as it proposes modeling the bioenterprise using the Canvas and SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis tools through the analysis of scientific papers guided by the technical contributions of stakeholders. According to the preliminary results obtained, it was possible to infer that the wound care market suggests a strong growth trend for the coming years. Thus, through strategic partnerships, resource acquisition, and a branding strategy that objectively demonstrates the definition of its value proposition, means of communicating the product to the target audience, as well as creating mechanisms for production and distribution efficiency, it is possible to take advantage of the market opportunities. It was also understood that businesses with a biotechnological approach and a focus on sustainability are significant revenue generators for the country. Therefore, the diffusion of the product in the sector presents possibilities and arouses the interest of consumers and other companies

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • Brazil currently produces energy from sources such as hydroelectric power, oil, coal,
biofuels, natural gas and nuclear. The country adopts renewable sources, such as
solar and wind, due to shortages caused by increased demand and an outdated, costly
and environmentally damaging production model. RN 482/2012 allows Brazilians to
generate their own energy. Public and private initiatives promote renewable energy,
including in disadvantaged regions, to alleviate impacts on family income. This
proposal seeks to follow this trend in the Complexo do Nordeste de Amaralina, with
the support of Caena. The study is based on the theory of Technology and Social
Innovation. Documents include administrative and commercial resources, training
methodology, contracts and brand. The proposal mobilizes and raises awareness of
different social classes about clean energy and cooperation. Residents of Nordeste de
Amaralina will be trained and will act as operational and technical collaborators, while
others will participate through the commercial relationship with the roof rental. The
Social Roof model expects to directly impact 20 families in its first stage, using its own
resources and profits from the first installations. Market data, according to IBGE and
ABSOLAR, and legislation, according to ANEEL, support the business proposal.
Project stages include mobilization, awareness, training, residence qualification, sales,
design, installation and monitoring of systems. It is expected to build commercial
relationships that generate positive economic, social and environmental impacts. The
expected product at the end of this study is the business model proposal.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • The central point of this work is the investigation into the possibility of classifying an
artificial intelligence system as the author of a musical work in accordance with article
11, caput, of the Brazilian Copyright Law. To carry out this research, a dialectical
qualitative method was used, with an exploratory approach and methodology of
documentary research procedure of primary sources and bibliographic research of
secondary sources. We sought to identify whether an artificial intelligence system, as
a computer program, could be considered a subject of copyright and whether musical
works, in fact, should be considered as “creations of the spirit’’. As a background, I
intend to analyze the impacts of this regulatory measure on technological development
and innovation. We used comparative law and the most recent understandings of
supranational organizations such as the World Intellectual Property Organization, the
Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the European Union on
the subject. The results show that the subject is still a constant discussion at national
and international level, without having been pacified by countries or harmonized by
    supranational organizations.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • Collective brands are symbols that distinguish products and services on the market,
linked to a collective, without necessarily being linked to a territory. However, in a city,
traditional places of occupation can be identified where specific products and services
are sold. In Salvador, Bahia, the Historic Center presents itself as a place of
convergence of groups of formal and informal entrepreneurs, linked to a Creative
Economy, in which cultural resources are seen as important assets that generate
economic growth and development. The goal of the present work was to study the
potential of collective branding as a strategy for enhancing the Creative Economy of
the Historic Center territory in Salvador, Bahia. To this end, an exploratory qualitative
study was carried out, using bibliographical, normative and documentary researches.
In order to characterize the territory, a survey of the businesses in the Historic Center
linked to the Creative Economy was carried out and compared with the Cultural
Domains of the Creative Economy in Bahia, according to the Bahia Superintendence
of Economic and Social Studies. The survey showed that most of the businesses in
the Historic Center belong to Activities Related to the Creative Segment and Cultural
Activities, led by gastronomy and the craftwork. It was also possible to identify the
territorial assets that make up the local identity. Finally, by analyzing the results in
relation to current regulations, the potential and obstacles to registration were
identified, concluding that the region has the potential for a collective brand that
represents the entrepreneurs of the Historic Center, with benefits for improving
economic conditions through distinction, adding value, collective affirmation and
    visibility of products and services

  • This course conclusion work consists of a Jurisprudential Prospecting Guide for the
Superior Court of Justice - STJ and is completely relevant in supporting a product
linked to the professional master's program in intellectual property and technology
transfer for innovation - PROFNIT. Its general objective is to provide PROFNIT with
updated STJ jurisprudence, highlighting the importance of Jurisprudence Information,
instructing NITs and innovation agencies in the conclusion of TT contracts. The
proposed methodology consists of action research, of an exploratory type, with a
qualitative approach that has among its merits the valorization of ideas, with an
investigation into the reality studied through diverse and different sources of
consultation. Jurisprudential research was carried out in the Superior Court of Justice
database. As a result, it is assumed that for a good collection of information,
jurisprudential prospecting techniques of information from the Superior Court of Justice
(STJ) are applied, serving as a database for researchers, covering the learning method
in the study of interpretation of applied legislation, to resolve and guide disputes
involving intellectual property and its relationships in the field of research. In view of
the above, it can be concluded that its importance for the formation of assets, serves
as capital or equity investments, mobilizes the financial market, with prospective
studies that can involve multiple methods and techniques, quantitative and qualitative,
in order to obtain the complementarity, seeking to compensate for possible deficiencies

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • In Bahia, a state made up mostly of black people, it is essential to observe who has
reached spaces of power, including the field of technology development, as research
indicates that white and male people are the majority in this access, a fact that
promotes and perpetuates historical epistemic and socioeconomic inequalities.
Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the opportunities provided for social strata,
with the aim of identifying privileges and re-discussing them from a disruptive and
inclusive perspective. The objective is to collaborate with the democratization of
access to CTIs, based on the identification of the Bahia State Education Network as a
possible ICT and Ethnic-Racial Education as a training base for the development of
creative potential. To this end, a decolonial case study was carried out, seeking the
points of intersection between Education, STI and Racial Ethnic Studies, through
qualitative and intersectional methodology. A Decolonial Review on the way science
developed in modernity; tracking investments in STI and inserting social extracts into
the identified innovation environments were the first stages of the research. In the
second moment, in the Bahian perspective, the Afro-diasporic contribution to the
state's economic scenario and the school as an already democratized space for
education were identified, as well as the creative potential of black youth to be
perceived and valued. The perspective, in addition to allowing the creation of a
Recognition Policy, strengthens the state's culture of innovation. Finally, through field
research carried out with students from the Network, it was concluded that the
crossings of coloniality permeate people's emotional and cognitive instances; in black
women, causing altericides and epstemicides that hinder the development of creative
thinking; in whites, through the idea of normalizing their worldview, taking themselves
as a reference point for development and making others invisible. In this way,
understanding that innovation environments are composed of and for people, it is
essential to create an innovation policy and internal regulations for the State Education
Network, which are in line with the promotion of STI, as they rescue the creative
potential of the Bahian population is to carry out democratic innovation policy in Negra
    Bahia

In the last three decades, Consumer Law has disciplined consumer relations, includingprotecting the consumer in eletronic commerce, albeit weakly, with the aim of minimizing thelosses suffered due to the lack of a law that would regulate purchases made in the digital world, allowing the consumer could regret the acquisition, without any justification, within 07 (seven)days, enabling the return of intellectual property products (books, films, etc.), and greatlyharming the author. Twenty-three years after the advent of the Consumer Law, in 2013, DecreeNo. 7.692 came into force, which regulates consumption on the Internet, maintaining, ipsislitteris, the right to repentance “enshrined” in article 49 of the Consumer Code. In this sense, the present work aims to expand the protection of copyright with respect to the return ofproducts without just reason, in view of being an excessive time lapse which allows the use ofthe product and subsequent return with prejudice to the intellectual author. In the politicalcontext of encouraging innovation, the present proposal has the benefit of creating legislationthat enables the protection of copyright, promoting intellectual production in order to includethousands of authors, whose dissemination of this process is captured by companies in thefuture with potencial for reproducibility. The methodology applied to the present work was abibliographic and systematic review, of a descriptive and exploratory nature.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • In recent years, there has been an acceleration in Brazil regarding the registration of
Geographical Indication (GI) of products and servicesthathave a differential due to
their characteristics resulting from human intervention or natural factors, such as soil,
climate, relief, among others.TheGI is a distinctive sign of recognition of the intrinsic
quality of aparticularproduct or service differentiation due to its origin, making it more
competitive in the market, serving to develop the less favored regions, besides being
a driver of socioeconomic development of a society. Publicbeverage-relatedplanning
tendsto value products with certain alcoholic contents, as is the case of the emblematic
beveragesof Brazil and Mexico, respectively cachaça and tequila, whose histories are
    intertwinedwiththeveryhistoriesofthesecountriesandtheirculturaland
socioeconomic development, besides counting onthe legal protection granted by their
governments for the exclusive use of the terms cachaça and tequila, which are globally
accepted, and this condition confers a local benefit, especially when linked to the
registration of a GI. The objective of thiswork is to verify the benefits and advantages
of registering these products as a GI. The methodology used was bibliographic
research, usingarticles, dissertations, theses, and studies related to cachaça and
tequila. Theproductionof tequilaisfocused onthe foreign market, while cachaça has
greater penetration in the domestic market, and this condition does not make it a global
player in the trade of emblematic drinks. There is a great distance between the reality
faced by alembiccachaça producers and those of tequila associated institutions,
especially in relation to social capital, representative organizations, and public policies
aimed at promoting exports and supporting certification. The results reveal a complex

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • In the quest to implement the new instruments brought by the Legal Framework for Science, Technology and Innovation (CT&I), the Brazilian States need to update their legislation to create a system conducive to the effective implementation of Science, Technology and Innovation Policies aimed at social and economic development. economic. Given this trend, the implementation or edition of a municipal innovation policy is a complex action and dependent on many factors, which make such a public policy not a priority. The participation and support of the Municipal Public Administration as well as of the different actors participating in the local innovation ecosystem of Simões Filho - Bahia will be crucial for the achievement of this important, current and expected theme for the municipality. For the development of this project, a Public Consultation was prepared for the community in general, addressing the main points to compose the Policy Project based on the Legal Innovation Framework and the Municipal Innovation Policy of Salvador - Bahia. In this stage, some actors were chosen for the Public Consultation on an experimental basis. The results were calculated, and based on the respondents' observations and adjustments to the Public Consultation items, the Pre-Draft of the Bill was prepared. In the future, it is intended to make the consultation link available on the City Hall's homepage, which will address the guidelines to be validated in the collective construction of the Local Innovation Policy, as well as consolidate the partnership of the Public Administration, presenting the proposal for the Policy of Local Innovation with the intention that it be implemented in the Municipality. Thus, this Project aims to promote the constant improvement of public policies to promote technological innovations, increasing the competitiveness of products, processes and services, providing the sustained growth of the Municipality.

  • The present work seeks to describe the activities carried out by the Nucleus of Technological
Innovation (NIT) of IF BAIANO and its improvements in the area of technology application,
identifying its institutional profile based on the New Legal Framework for Science, Technology
and Innovation (Law n.o 13,243/2016). To meet the objective of the study, a survey of data was
carried out regarding the structuring and regulation of the NIT of the IF BAIANO. These data
were obtained through consultations with the institution's documents and legislation, available
on its website, in addition to her own experience in technical and administrative activities
developed by the author, who works in the sector. After analyzing the existing documents such
as Intellectual Property records (IP's), standard forms, public notices that were prepared for
innovation and among others that are in the sector's collection, it was found that the NIT of the
IF BAIANO, when automating its IP and TT records mapped its activities and created
transparency in processes, thus improving its current management and functions. Thus,
assuming an administrative, legal and business profile, these aspects collaborate in the
development of innovation activities and favor partnerships with companies. It is inferred that,
for a more effective and efficient performance in the management of innovation, it is necessary
to add knowledge and updates in the area of technological innovation. This work led to the

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • Epidemic diseases are considered a serious public health problem in Brazil and worldwide. Dengue is an infectious and seasonal disease transmitted by Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, being found in four distinct serotypes: DEN1, DEN2, DEN3 and DEN4. The seasonal dynamics of the vector is directly linked to meteorological issues. Therefore, this study aimed to study and seek to correlate the incidence of dengue with climatic variables: relative humidity, average temperature and precipitation. The methodology adopted was an applied research with a qualitative and quantitative approach. Initially, the notifications of dengue cases registered in SINAN were analyzed for the time series between 01/01/2001 and 31/12/2013 for 28 municipalities in the state of Bahia, with an active meteorological station. Due to the 'missing' in the INMET database, only two municipalities were chosen, with distinct biomes and the largest in the interior of the state, being: Feira de Santana and Vitória da Conquista. In addition, the concept of time lag was used in the present, which allows an analysis of environmental interactions in a given period of time. From the data studied, 4,350 notifications of dengue cases were recorded for the municipality of Vitória da Conquista (VDC) and 21,289 cases for the city of Feira de Santana (SDS). The relative humidity of the air influences the longevity of the vector, having a life expectancy of up to 35 days. For the time series studied, the variable ranged from 62 to 92%. It is worth noting that, at 80%, the relative humidity acts as a regulator of dengue cases. The maximum mean temperature of the analyzed municipalities belongs to the range 25.5º C and 27ºC for VDC, and 29.5ºC and 31.1ºC for SDS. Regarding rainfall, both municipalities oscillated their rainfall indexes between 520 and 710 mm. It was concluded that the increase in precipitation alone does not justify the increase in the incidence of dengue, it is necessary a set of factors that favor the development and survival of the vector.

  • The residential building units in this case study commonly provide on the wall only one drainage point for collecting liquid effluents from the washing machine, however, if two pieces of equipment were installed on the same branch due to the pressure of the liquid effluent discharge, there would be a return to the equipment inoperative. One way to try to avoid this return of the liquid effluent to the equipment that is not operational is by installing a system between the two hoses of the appliances in order to control the flow in only one direction, the discharge, mainly for the current residential buildings, making it not necessary to build another branch, which will save resources and time. The objective of this research work is the development of a prototype system that allows to safely capture the liquid effluents from the washing machine and the dishwasher and send them to a shared drainage point. The methodological structure for the development of the work is based on a hypothetical-deductive method, the approach is qualitative as to the nature of the data, the objectives are exploratory and descriptive and in relation to the techniques, the research is bibliographic and case study. As a complement, a previous patent search was also carried out in the ESPACENET database. In conclusion, the work resulted in the development and testing of three prototypes, where the third proved to be safe and functional. There was no evidence in the patent research of a product analogous to the one developed, creating a future perspective of its improvement as a product and / or a potential invention patent.

  • The analysis of the scientific and technological production of a higher education institution, as well as the evaluation of its human intellectual capital, have been some of the ways commonly used to determine its research quality, being able to also determine the limits and competences of the institution. Among the initiatives, the increasing number of investigations that use intellectual production as data to indicate the level of institutions can be highlighted, with research being the largest component in these arrangements. Considering that the standard of teaching quality is almost always linked to the level of production generated within these institutions and that one of the ways to analyze these aspects is through the publications of their researchers, this work intends to correlate the scientific production of the Federal University Recôncavo da Bahia with information on its technological production, such as the evolution in the number of patent applications filed, in order to present a diagnosis of research and innovation in the institution and, through the analysis of these data, an overview of its potential. Otherwise, part of the institutional assessment process also involves an assessment of its potential through an analysis of its researchers, and consequently the management of its human intellectual capital, which is why the theme was also addressed in this work. To collect the information, access to databases such as SCOPUS, ORBIT and LATTES to information provided by the institution were used. These data were grouped and organized into graphs with information that will be presented and discussed below. For the period 2010-2019, 1483 scientific publications and 40 patent applications were found, and with regard to researchers, 906 resumes available on the Lattes platform were analyzed. Taking these numbers as a reference, it was found that UFRB has shown continued growth in its production, both scientific and technological, with the need for improvement in actions to leverage this growth and make it more expressive. In 15 years of existence, UFRB has contributed to the development of several areas and, with the purpose of leveraging the achievement of its goals, the use of tools capable of helping its various sectors in the preparation of a strategic plan is addressed, use was made of a multivariate analysis system and the SWOT matrix, from the analysis of their scenarios, scientific and technological production and the Management of their human intellectual capital, providing the involvement and cooperation between these sectors, in a collective and efficient way, where part of the development process culminates in the strengthening of teaching centers and their research, with a view to maximizing institutional results.

  • Sustainable energy is the big motto for countries in this beginning of the millennium and several sources have been growing substantially, such as solar and wind energy. In Brazil and in some countries such as China, the USA, Germany and Denmark there is a high wind potential and excellent quality factor, which, in our country, is associated with the public policies created by the Brazilian government, which allowed the installation of wind farms and the implementation of equipment industries linked to the sector. Brazilhas an energy matrix focused on sustainable energy, but that depends on climatic factors. Wind energy is an energy that enters the list of renewable energy and is a palpable investment, so the study was based on patents for this technology. Thus, the present work aims to contribute to the technological prospection in a database of patents for wind turbines of wind turbines in the world, including Brazil, to then carry out a prospection in the national office-INPI-to verify that most patents filed in the country are of international origin. We worked with the patent search enginesOrbit Intelligence, Espacenet and the INPI. The results of this prospecting were very significant for this technology with most patents being from patent market leadingcountries such as China, USA, Germany and Denmark. Thus, Brazil, which is a major importer of wind energy patents, has become a very poignant market for this technology and investments should be focused on this type of renewable energy as the country needsseveral energy sources to rekindle as one of the powers. development, mainly in the energy area. The information gathered from the technological prospection of global and national trends in wind blade patents, and also about the challenges and opportunities in the Brazilian context, can serve as a basis for the establishment of technological routes, aiming at the development of wind turbines and their components with technology and national patents and the training of professionals in the field of patent developers.

  •  3D printing is one of the technologies revealed by the fourth industrial revolution and

considered by many authors as a fundamental element in the transformation of productive
processes in the 21st century. In addition to factory environments, 3D printing is present in
various spaces and in the most diverse areas of global society. This was the motivation for
this research, which focused on carrying out a historical and technological mapping based
on information from scientific and technological publications (articles and patents) in order
to understand how the process of emergence and development of technologies in the
innovation process is . Thus, it was possible to analyze the scientific and technological
interactions with innovation and development processes since the discovery of factors that
motivated the invention of the first processes and equipment in additive manufacturing.
From this investigation, it was possible to build a new didactic and also methodological
path from a historical temporal categorization for decades that presented a panorama of
identification of the main actors associated with 3D printing. They are: authors, inventors,
science and technology institutions (ICTs), as well as world players. This information
supported the development of a technical-scientific database, in addition to the publication

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • This paper presents elements characterized as social innovation in the rural area of the municipality of Varzedo, Bahia, and outlines an overview that demonstrates the feasibility of developing such technologies in an adverse environment. As defined, the social innovations found also offer responses to certain needs, and are more effective, efficient, and sustainable than existing ones. Conducting a survey and evaluation of social innovations in the rural context of a small town as the model and finding consolidated examples and others in progress of social technologies and innovations strengthens the conclusions reached. To present the concepts and analyze the social and frugal innovations and technologies in the rural area of the municipality of Varzedo, evaluating their social and economic reflexes trying to establish a premise based on their use and propagation are the objectives of this work and, to this end, the method adopted for the development of this study was an exploratory, qualitative research and case study. The results observed are connected to water solutions and linked to poultry production. The Braga Dam, or Massaferro Dam, as it is popularly known, which largely solved the water supply problems of part of the municipality of Varzedo, and the innovations linked to the raising of poultry for slaughter, such as the new model of oven with outlets for ducts that improve heat dissipation inside the farms, adequately reflect the characteristics sought in a social innovation. Thus, it could be concluded that the social innovations pointed out and related in this research bring positive aspects and that these social instruments represent and substantiate the thought that it is possible to have technologies and procedures that reflect the creativity and pioneering spirit of small rural workers throughout Brazil, especially if there is an approximation of social actors with public policies.

  • This research sought to investigate the use of Artificial Intelligence in the development of patents, especially in the search and dissemination of anteriority. The research problem refers to the question of whether Artificial Intelligence technology can be considered as an Inventor in itself, and hold a patent: What are the main considerations and arguments for refusing this idea in the present scenario? Consequently, in order to achieve this multidisciplinary undertaking to study the interface between AI and Patents, it was necessary to apply a perspective also centered on data analysis, IOT and new technologies in the Age of the Digital Revolution, evaluating the algorithmic characteristic of Black Boxing. In addition, the studies necessarily covered the contextualization and criteria of legal responsibility, personality rights and contractual relations as fundamental factors to support the thesis discussed here. The studies briefly addressed the regulatory aspects and legislative policies of AI in the international and European contexts, providing a perspective of comparative law. Lastly, the work tried to address some of the issues of transparency and ethics involved in this problematic topic, bringing the concept of Cui Bono to justify the impossibility of granting a Patent to AI. Therefore, this research work encompassed the advantages and disadvantages involved in the Artificial Intelligence scenario, demonstrating improved performance and results of its use in the industrial property area, according to business practices and techniques, and the ethical parameters that must be pursued by society, to develop a transparent, reliable and “explicable” use of Artificial Intelligence, as a TOOL, especially related to the patent system.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • In 2008, with the Complementary Law No. 128/2008, from the amendment of the General Law of Micro and Small Company (Complementary Law No. 123/2006), was created the figure of Individual Microentrepreneur - MEI, whose purpose was to exclude from the informality, the thousands of entrepreneurs who own their own business. Currently, in the country, there are more than eight million MEI, being a reference regarding the increase in the number of business formalizations. The objective of the present work is the elaboration of an e-book, in order to make available the main contents related to the theme of innovation, this informative material intended for the entrepreneur with new profile of the individual microentrepreneur. A support link will be presented specifying the role of Technology Innovation Centers (NITs) and some of the management support tools. To elaborate the work, researches were carried out in the database of the Federal Revenue of Brazil (RFB) and Portal of the Microentrepreneur. It is noteworthy that today, to be an individual microentrepreneur, it is necessary that the maximum annual revenue is $ 81,000, have only one employee and not be a partner or a holder of another company. In addition, it is necessary to carry out one of the economic activities listed in Annex XI of the CGSN (Simple National Management Committee) Resolution. The concept of innovation in Law No. 13.243 / 2016, which introduces the concept of innovation, translates as: “introduction of novelty or improvement in the productive and social environment that results in new products, services or processes or that includes the aggregation of new functionality or features to an existing product, service or process that could result in improvements and effective quality or performance gains. ” Regarding the introduction of innovation-related issues as a strategic differential in small businesses, this should be considered one of the main factors for maintenance and also the achievement of sustainability and competitiveness.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • Much is said about patents in federal public higher education institutions (IES), but there are still few accounting disclosure actions for this intellectual property. The first purpose of this study is to present a detailed diagnosis of the patents deposited at the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) of the IES federal public, located in Bahia territory, comprised of eight institutions: UFBA, UFRB, UFOB, UFSB, UNILAB, IFBA, IF BAIANO and UNIVASF. Accordingly, the other intention is to identify the accounting treatment attributed to patents in the group of Intangible Assets, through the analysis of the accounting statements published in the annual management reports of the IES. Methodologically, exploratory research was used through a qualitative and quantitative approach, exploring bibliographic sources of books and articles published on the CAPES journal portal, as well as documentary sources, such as institutional reports, accounting standards, laws and decrees. In addition, secondary data on patent filings from the INPI base were used. As analysis, the techniques of documentary study and content analysis were used within an interpretive approach. The results show that UFBA is the Bahia institution that has the most patent deposits registered in the INPI database, in addition, it is highlighted that 93% of the deposits claim the right to invention, and according to the classification of the International Patent Classification (IPC) , the Bahia patents are mostly concentrated in Section A - Human Needs with 26% and in Section C - chemistry and metallurgy with 16% of the total of 393 deposits found until September 24, 2020. Therefore, it is concluded that the Federal higher education institutions in Bahia do not account for patents as intangible assets in the Balance Sheets in their Management Reports.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • The term Invention has become a watchword, especially in education in times of pandemic. It is known that when subjects become equipped with knowledge, ideas, questions arise and then they walk towards discoveries and progress in search of solutions to everyday problems and when they find them, inventions, which resemble innovation, almost always appear. The human species in the fervor of their mental restlessness over the years, has produced innumerable innovations: microfilms, manual calculator, perforated card, desktop computer, floppy disks, CD ROM, interactive whiteboard, notebook and so many others, and all of this directly interfered in your behavior to the point that he cannot get rid of Smartphones, because it represents having the world in your hands, smartphones together with Qr Codes provide innumerable possibilities as innovation, one of the barriers faced for its hegemony has been the unavailability of Internet access, these tools are good allies for active teaching methodologies which place students at the center of the construction of their own knowledge, making them protagonists of their reality. Thinking from this perspective, with a mitigating vision of the portion still digitally excluded, supported by a prospecting process, the CQr Game was conceived, which has the flexibility to be used not only in education but in several areas, without the need for access to internet, it is possible to integrate, socialize, improve the perceptual capacity of the subjects, making educational activities more dynamic and pleasurable.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • Nanobiotechnology is a multidisciplinary branch of research, resulting from the fusion between biotechnology and nanotechnology, and is characterized by applications in biological fields in scale that can range from 1 to 100 nanometers. The infections caused by the Zika virus (ZIKV) deserve special attention for triggering diseases such as microcephaly in fetuses and Guillain-Barré syndrome. The objective of the work was to perform a prospective scientific and patent mapping related to the use of nanobiotechnology in strategies against ZIKV. Prospective studies consist in collecting, analyzing and validating information on scientific and emerging technology developments, development routes and potential impacts in the future, in addition to supporting the decision-making process in organizations. The Web of Science database was used for the search of articles and for the recovery of patents, the Orbit Intelligence. Thus, in the advanced search fields of these tools were inserted truncated keywords referring to nanobiotechnology and Zika virus, with the help of Boolean operators, thus allowing a more assertive search. The results showed a growth in scientific publications and patent deposits between the years 2015 and 2019. Pisa University (Italy), Annamalai University (India) and King Saud University are leaders, being responsible for 29% of scientific publications, while the largest patent holders are Modernatx, Massachusetts Institut of Technology (MIT) and Harvad University holding 38% of inventions. India, United States and Italy lead the ranking with 64% of the articles published by Giovani Benelli, Marimutu Govindaranjan and other 521 researchers, and which correspond predominantly to the areas of chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology. EPO, WIPO and United States received 47% of the protection requests of the patent families developed by Giuseppe Ciaramella, Sunny Himansu and other 65 inventors with the support of dominant technology, example of pharmacology, biotechnology and analysis of biological materials. Approximately 51% of scientific applications belong to the area of prevention against the ZIKV and 37% of the families of patents move towards the development of preventive and therapeutic technologies. Finally, the results showed interest from academia, science and technology institutes and companies in developing strategies to halt the advance of Zika viruses, related diseases or their vectors in the world. It is hoped that the aforementioned theme can subsidize and motivate new works in the areas of competitive intelligence and future studies, involving areas with a future associated with diseases in the scope of intellectual property.

  • Technology Parks (PqTs) are conducive environments for the formulation, articulation and
implementation of long-term policies and strategies, focused on innovation, which through
collaboration and interaction between the “installed community”, contribute substantially to
economic, technological, social and environmental. In order to develop their activities, it is
necessary that the Parks establish governance models, as well as clear and collaborative
strategies necessary to achieve their objectives. For that, fundraising is essential, which
requires knowledge, planning, strategies, among other premises presented here. This work
consists of two chapters, the first being the Fundraising Guide for Technology Parks and the
second, the manuscript submitted to the journal Cadernos de Prospecção, within the same
theme. It was noticed the absence of studies and publications focusing on fundraising
strategies for Technology Parks. In this sense, this work was developed for professionals who
work or intend to work with fundraising for Parks. It can even contribute to other
professionals working in other areas in the Parks, in an attempt to guide and perfect the
strategies for raising efficient and effective resources.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • With the growth of the influence of the internet and social networks on the purchasing power of the consumer, the customer has more information about the products and services he wants to purchase. In addition, with the massive amount of information received daily, customers are increasingly selective about relevant and interesting information, while despising everything they consider irrelevant in their daily lives. Thus, in this work, we present a case of setting up a franchised school of professional courses and marketing methodologies. In this sense, InBound Marketing was used as a way to serve the public for relevant content in order to attract, engage and delight customers. This marketing strategy, which is a current trend, was applied in the Franchise “Prepara Boca do Rio” (Neighborhood of Salvador BA), bringing complementarity to traditional marketing and contributing to a 24% increase in commercial revenue in the first two months of 2020.

  • Geographical Indications (GIs) aim to boost regional economies through the concepts of recognition, notoriety and quality certification related to a specific region. It is a public policy that has been providing economic and social benefits to registered regions. Some of them, especially the most recent ones and its local producers, still aim to leverage economic growth by following the path of other regions that have obtained their registrations, and publicized their brands with quality. A strong collective marketing is one of the driving strategies of IGs protected regions. Aiming primarily to strengthen GIs, this innovation project proposes a method to develop them through the StartIG product (www.startig.com.br) created to add value to existing GIs in Bahia and Brazil, as well as other regions that are not yet GIs and are applying for registration or have an economy that can grow by applying the concepts of collective branding, collaboration or cooperation. StartIG is a system that includes different marketplaces. Specific websites are created to each region covered by an GI or cluster - community of companies and producers. On these virtual sales spaces, each company or manufacturer can sell and advertise their products, demands and services in order to strengthen the contemplated region. As a result, the online commerce between producers and consumers, are expected to promote local producers and increase their revenues

  • In 2016, the Paris Agreement became effective at the 21st Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Approved by 195 countries, it encourages the formulation of adaptation strategies for climate change scenarios, seeking technologies to reduce GHG emissions and striving for sustainable development. The process of producing synthetic fertilizers consumes a large amount of energy and generates a considerable amount of GHG emissions that motivate global warming. The treatment of patent data, a tool of competitive intelligence, allows to guide the stakeholders regarding the overcoming of technological challenges and investments. The objective of this work is to list information on patents related to waste management to produce biofertilizers, based on historical data series. Questel Orbit and Patent Vantage Point are the selected tools for trend monitoring through review of patent publications to prospecting in several structured databases. The methodological and research approach is promoted through an exploratory and descriptive research: bibliographical and legislative survey; listing of Green Technologies based on the Inventory published by WIPO; access to the database of patent publications; and treatment and analysis of results. • Resumen Espectáculo
  • The development of a country is linked to its ability to produce and create opportunities. In this sense, electric energy is an important input into technology, raw materials, and labor. On the other hand, the cost of energy has increased considerably, which has left entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs at the mercy of tariff band exchanges, which can directly impact the cost of products and/or services. With the opening of the free electricity market, consumers with a contracted demand of over 500 Kwh can choose freely with whom to negotiate their contracts of purchase and sale of energy, increasing in this way the business and commercial competitiveness, since the consumer can reduce on average 30% (thirty percent) of its costs in relation to the regulated market. It is in the free market of electric power that one can find the potential form of the economy since it is a safe and reliable means of acquiring electric energy that is consolidated by a negotiable value. Thus, the manager who wants to have greater security in the effectiveness and cost setting can do so by migrating to the hiring environment free of energy. However, the process of migration is laborious and requires a lot of time and attention. Many entrepreneurs choose to hire specific consultants to carry out this service. Among the 4 largest companies in Brazil since the segment we have the company which holds this product, which has been operating for more than 17 (seventeen) years in the market, has offices in all regions of the country, several plants in operation, more than 450 (four hundred and fifty) million investments in assets and more than 500 (five hundred) clients under its management. The company is conservative and has sought innumerable ways to innovate. In this sense, the need arose for an internal process to be used by company employees distributed throughout the country. Therefore, it was necessary to map and elaborate processes capable of guiding employees in the performance of their activities to follow the same standard and quality.

This work was justified in the absence of methods and/or process management of the company focused on the commercial sector. Where the implementation of an efficient internal process will bring to the company more competitiveness and productivity with the use of the appropriate tools and specific instructions. The delivery of the manual will bring great impacts to the commercial sector where, it is important to emphasize that process mapping is a management tool that allows understanding the operation of each activity and control of all the key steps of the organization's operation, making it possible to improve processes already existing or new ones. As a rule, it was necessary to seek from the managers/managers and collaborators the outline of the usual flow of activities, since standardization is the first step to carry out mapping. That is, to know the current process of activities was necessary to obtain a preliminary flow of the actions performed, as well as the main problems to be eliminated, such as: • Reduce delays or rework; • Clarify the roles within the process; • Reduce costs and automate routines; • Eliminate unnecessary tasks; • Change processes quickly to make them more agile; • Standardize in accordance with best production practices, generating greater transparency; • Greater control and monitoring; • Achieve better customer satisfaction and response to the delivered product/service; • Increase productivity by performing other activities; • Among others.

Thus, the manual presents the steps to be developed by each employee and how each step relates to the work of others in the process in detail. That is, it makes it possible to identify, prioritize and understand problems that often go unnoticed in the daily routine and in the repetition of the tasks performed.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • Brazil is one of the largest producers of tropical fruit on the planet and a fruit production is a good option to promote the fruit marketing chain in Brazil, both for the domestic market and abroad. Despite Brazil's potential, Brazil imports dried fruits, mainly from countries like China, the United States and Chile. In view of the above, the purpose of this work was to study the Course Completion Work Plan, the topic of Fruit Dehydration. This document is three annexes: I. A manuscript submitted to the Journal "Journal of Food Science and Technology", at the same time that it gathers the necessary information for the transfer of technology in Brazil and in the world. Through patent research, the growing number of patents in the world associated with Dried Fruits has been identified, which is an indicator of how countries are positioning themselves against the global market, seeking diversification of products, reduction of production costs and increase efficiency. Brazil has not been keeping up with the world pace by more efficient methods of dehydrating fruits and permeating competitiveness, even with all non agribusiness potential. After exploratory patent research, the main technologies were important by the leading research centers and companies in the manufacture of dry foods around the world. II. Industrial Property Requests: Patent Office: in the process of Registration by the Federal University of Bahia, entitled "SNACK FRUIT: DEHYDRATOR FOR DRYING FOOD, FRUIT AND HORTALIÇAS". It is a utility model adapted after the publication of existing technologies in the market. This is an industrial application model and is presented as a production method with the help of current models; III Photos of devices and parts of the dehydrator, packaging and related.

  • Law No. 9.279 / 1996 defines Geographical Indication (GI) as: Indication of Origin (PI) that indicates the geographical name that has become known for the production or manufacture of a particular product, or provision of a certain service or Denomination of Origin (DO) which indicates the geographical name of the place that designates product or service, whose qualities or characteristics are due exclusively or essentially to the geographical environment including natural and human factors. GIs bring various beneficial effects not only to producers, but also to consumers and local communities. Products whose unique qualities depend on their geographical origin, the creation of a GI can have a positive impact on the production and generation of employment and income in the region, allowing producers to market the products at a price that consumers are willing to pay, a price in exchange for the quality "certified" by the IG, allowing a better distribution of income along the productive chain. The work investigates the feasibility of obtaining GI registration for the flowers and ornamental plants of the city of Maracás, located in the state of Bahia. The research was developed through a qualitative exploratory approach, adopting the field research strategy. The results evidence the existence of a reputable product with sufficient local resources for a GI. Thus, it becomes relevant a proposal that makes possible the certification of GI for flowers and ornamental plants, in the municipality of Maracás.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • This paper proposes the creation of a Guide for the elaboration of models of contracts of technology
transfer with focus on bonuses, maturity and technological risks. Resulting in an instrument that could
provide information in a simple and dynamic way to agents of the innovation ecosystem and those who
make use of it, resulting from the observation implemented in the CT&I legislation inserted in the new legal
framework (13.243/2016) and in the decree (9.283/18) that regulated it, related to the impetus of the
innovative development of technological research and technology transfer. This study was carried out
through a comparative analysis of good practices applied in technology transfer offices in some parts of
the world (USA, UK and France) and the activities developed in NITs, as well as the identification of the
methods and strategies adopted by them that differentiate them from national NITs. The historical context
was analyzed with the approval of the Bayh Dole Act (1980), the US regulatory framework, which served as
an inspiration for the creation of Brazilian legislation related to innovation. The methodology used was
qualitative, descriptive and exploratory through a documentary mapping of national and international laws
related to the CT&I. The need to build greater technical and legal security for contracts involving
technology transfer was also addressed in order to increase technological capacity and productivity and
to contribute to the transformation and improvement of the national innovation system in Brazil
