VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN: AN ANALYSIS OF AXIOLOGICAL VOICES IN THE WRITING OF ENEM 2015
Bakhtinian phase. Textual Linguistics. Enem essays. Exotopic relationship. Axiological voices.
This research entitled “Violence against women: an analysis of axiological voices in the newsrooms of the Enem 2015” aims to analyze how the responsive subject positions himself and dialogues with other voices. This approach is based on studies of the Bakhtinian phase of Textual Linguistics (TL), which is based on some theoretical assumptions of the Bakhtin Circle, thus expanding the research inherent to the Bakhtinian phase, which conceives the text as a dialogic event, semiotic, spoken or written. The corpus of this work are samples of essays produced by candidates from Salvador (Bahia) in the National High School Exam (Enem). In the process of analysis, the historical-ideological layer, the axiological voices and the position of the discursive subject assumed in front of the following thematic proposal of writing were considered: “The persistence of violence against women in Brazilian society”. The analyses showed a clash of voices on the issue of violence against women, positioning themselves against the machismo present in society. Some positions revealed that the rise of women still bothers many people, causing the continuity of violence against women in society in the 21st century.
