This research is limited to analyzing the possibilities of how digital multiliteracies through cell phones in the classroom can contribute to improving English language learning in public schools, with 8th/9th grade students as target audience. with the age group between 13-17 years old, in a medium-sized elementary school – early and final years – located in the center of Lauro de Freitas in Bahia. Students who often arrive at school with problems of lack of structure and lack of family support, behavioral issues, emotional and financial needs, etc. Finally, several factors that contribute to the lack of interest/demotivation for learning other subjects and, in particular, the English language, since many students still have a resistance to accepting the language using that old catchphrase "- Não sei portuguese, imagine English!”
