The setting for these observations and discussions will be the Federal Institute of Bahia (IFBA) on the Seabra campus, located in the Chapada Diamantina region. To achieve the objectives, the research will be built on the following theoretical framework: Applied Linguistics and the teaching of foreign languages; the importance of Spanish as a foreign language in the national scene and in the city of Seabra - BA; authorship of teaching materials for classes; interculturality and S / FL teaching-learning. It will be used the interpretative qualitative, the procedure we will follow is the action research and the following instruments and methods for data generation will be used: virtual diagnostic questionnaire; application of didactic material and field diary. To support the discussions, I will seek support in the following theoretical frameworks: Candau (2010, 2011, 2012); Matos (2014, 2016); Mendes (2012, 2015); Moita Lopes (2006, 2019); Paraquett (2009, 2015, 2019); Walsh (2005, 2008, 2009,2019); and others. As a result, I aim to contribute to the improvement of pedagogical practices, which allow the creation of a dynamic teaching-learning space with contents that are related to the context of Chapada Diamantina, in addition to providing an environment with experiences and emotions that facilitate learning, in which there is motivation, curiosity, interaction and especially respect for others.
