The theater and the teaching of literature in the formation of the reader.
Reading. Theather. Sensitive.
This thesis proposes to investigate how the articulation between literature and
theater, based on the interartistic relationship, enhances the formation of the
reader, since theater is present in each performance, where it manifests itself
and arouses an aesthetic reaction, which from the reception process through
dramatic reading, the reader becomes human through sensitive ways, builds his
knowledge and broadens his horizon of expectations. This study focuses the
discussion on the field of textual reception, and trans/interdisciplinarity in order
to enhance critical reading. It is also fruitful to reflect on the relationships built
between literature, theater and cultural capital within communicative situations,
in addition to problematizing how this relationship can shape the subjectivity of
the social and historical individual. So, to what extent can dramatic reading and
dramaturgy enhance the act of reading and emancipate the subject-reader?
This thesis brings a reflection on the teaching of literature in Portuguese
language classes.
