This reseach proposes to investigate the development of English as a Non Native Language by 2;6 to 5;0 year old children acquiring Portuguese as Native Language. Participant children were being exposed to English as a Non Native Language in a teaching Project in the nursery they were enrolled. The investigation focused on simplifying phonological processes in the speech of subjects as they interacted with researchers.
