POETRY IN THE CLASSROOM: AN EXPERIENCE WITH THE POETIC LANGUAGE OF RAP
Poetry and classroom. Rap music. Literature.
The research intends to develop strategies for reading poetic texts based on rap, in a class of 9th grade of elementary school II at Centro Educacional Joaquim Alves Cruz Rios, in the Municipality of São Francisco do Conde, seeking to deconstruct, in students, the vision of poetry as a text inaccessible to them. It is a qualitative research of an autoetnographic nature based on an action with the class. The foundation of the work is being made with the contributions of the following theorists: concepts of reading and reading teaching by Izabel Solé (1998) and Vicent Jouve (2002); concept of literature functions defined by Antônio Cândido (2002); concept of literature and literature teaching by Márcia Abreu (2003) and the concept of poetry and poem by Otávio Paz (1984) and rap, based on a qualitative research with an ethnographic basis. Other theorists should be added as the intervention develops.
