Burnout syndrome is known as a phenomenon of the modern era, resulting from the interaction of chronic stress in the work environment and personal characteristics. Recognized in several professions, it becomes quite frequent in professionals and also in students in the health area. Global exhaustion, depersonalization and decline in job satisfaction mark the syndrome's symptomatological triad. Objective: To analyze an emotional regulation program for undergraduate medical students, using dance as a therapeutic resource, with a focus on preventing and coping with Burnout Syndrome. Methodology: A quasi-experimental study, carried out with a sample of 292 students from medicine courses in the southwest region, who will be invited to answer an online questionnaire composed of scales of the dimensions of burnout and emotional regulation, in a pre-test. Participants with the highest scores on the burnout scales will be invited to participate in the intervention, based on dance techniques, and will later answer a post-test composed of the burnout scales and subjective questions about the intervention. Based on the results obtained, it is expected that it will be possible to create a set of mental health care actions in Medicine courses, based on the emotional regulation of students.
