SUMMARY:

Even if in Brazil, the black population represents the majority in numbers and experiences specific negatives related to racism, such as the psychological distress, few studies have been published on the health of this population. It is possible observe the records of SUS (2002) on psychiatric hospitalizations, which grows every day or Index of women who go through hospitalization for abusive use of alcohol and also for We will present mental and/or behavioral disorders related to the use of substances psychoactive Verifications like these, demonstrate how much is urgent and important to implementation of public policies aimed at the questão of the Brazilian black woman. Considering the relevance of the topic, the project intends to investigate how such questions gender and race influence the abusive use of alcohol and drugs by black women. Will be used as a methodological resource, a qualitative and exploratory approach. What data collection instrument semi-structured interviews will be conducted and used as theoretical support for interpretation and discourse analysis of the French language. To be treated as a professional teacher, it is understood that the results of the investigation must be directed to think about practical questions and still little explored, the daily life of the institution CAPS AD III.
