SUMMARY:

This research aims to investigate and understand the links established by health professionals of a multidisciplinary team with Palliative Care as a workspace, being centered on the sphere of affections raised in the encounter with a technique that aims at care, not cure, in the face of a life threatening illness. The literature on the subject (ALCANTARA, 2021; PINTO et al, 2021; COUTO & RODRIGUES, 2020; GUIMARÃES et al, 2020; BARBOSA et al, 2020; SIMÕES et al, 2021; DUARTE et al, 2021; SANTOS et al, 2020) points out difficulties in the act of palliating in the most diverse aspects of performance, but the proposed solutions focus exclusively on the relationship between the people involved, with none pointing out the relationship with technique and material work, that is, how the multiple links that are established with all existing beings, such as the environment, tools, beliefs, among countless others.
