MENTAL HEALTH AT THE UNIVERSITY: A PROPOSAL OF INTERVENTION TO PROMOTE THE QUALITY LIFE OF THE SERVER

This study aims to identify the relationship between mental health indicators (anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout syndrome), the perception of job satisfaction and the people management policy to public servant of a federal public university. Based on the empirical results of the research, it is intended to discuss the role of the personnel management area in promoting job satisfaction and employees' mental health. All the effective teachers and administrative technicians of the Institute's staff will be invited to participate in the study. For this investigation, the sociodemographic questionnaire, Criterio Brasil (2020), a complementary form to collect data on specific work conditions, the work satisfaction scale - EST; the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI); the depression, anxiety, and stress scale - DASS 21and the scale of perception of personnel management policy - EPPGP. Data collection will take place through the "Google Forms" platform, with forwarding to the personal email of the servers after approval by the Research Ethics Committee (CEP/UFBA). Descriptive and inferential analyzes are foreseen, using the R software, especially comparison and correlation studies. The results of this study should be the basis for the preparation of a technical report with indicators of mental health, perception of job satisfaction, perception of the people management policy, and the preparation of a proposal for a mental health program for the civil servants.
