SUMMARY:

The initial years of human development are marked by vulnerabilities and basic care needs for an adult human being. To understand this relationship, research has sought to understand how forms of parental care are structured. It is known that parental care styles can be both a source of protection and a source of risk for human development. Therefore, if negative parenting practices are carried out, some level of psychological suffering may develop, such as depressive symptoms and relationship problems. To observe these relationships between parental practices and children's development, the present study aims to investigate whether parental styles influence the bonding of relationships in adults. Based on the results obtained, the other objective of this research will be to develop a parental intervention protocol focusing on activities aimed at meeting basic care needs.
