the comparison of pre-test and post-test groups. Participants will be divided into four
groups, two experimental groups, and two controlled groups, matched by school-type
child, totaling 24 children aged 8 to 11 years old and 24 parents/guardians of both
sex. A pre-test assessment will be carried out for all children, which will also have the purpose
of identifying the cognitive profile equivalent to dyslexia. Instruments: will be applied the
following psychometric measurement instruments and psychological scales to measure the

Raven's Colored Progressives (CPM-RAVEN), Word Reading Assessment and

Multidimensional Life Satisfaction Survey for Children (EMSVC) and Verification Inventory
of Behavior for children and adolescents aged 6-18 years - Child Behavior Checklist
(CBCL). These assess family climate instruments, intelligence, reading performance,
quality of life, and emotional and behavioral development of children. will be held
a group parenting intervention in eight sessions, lasting ninety minutes
each and frequency weekly. From strategies based on techniques
and behavior, the meetings will address topics such as child behavior,
cognitive and emotional development of children with dyslexia, family literacy, and
strategies for homework time. It is expected that the effects of the intervention program
proposed can contribute to professional and family practices in the health promotion
of the mental health of children with dyslexia.
