SUMMARY:

The COVID-19 pandemic brought the need for several adaptations and accelerated the acceptance and use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in psychological care. This phenomenon raises the need for scientific studies to assess how this expansion occurred and the impacts on psychologists and the population that uses these services. In this context, this study has the general objective of describing how psychologists  who work in the health area have adapted their work to act through ICT, as of March 2020 , and the professional repercussions of this new practice for care strategies and work organization after the critical period of the pandemic. The research is descriptive, cross-sectional and collects structured and unstructured data. The sample will be proportional stratified, composed of psychologists enrolled in the 23 Regional Councils of Psychology (CRP) in Brazil and data collection will occur through the application of an online questionnaire with open and closed questions. The collected data will be organized in a database and, later, using statistical software, descriptive and inferential analyzes will be carried out. The unstructured data resulting from the open questions of the questionnaire will be studied through content analysis. It is expected to point out care and procedures to be considered in the work of health psychologists in the online modality, generating technical references for action and subsidies for training and education in this area.
