Literature and Readers: and the impacts on human formation
Literary literacy; Reader training literacy; Reading; Fruition.
The memorial entitled "Literature and Readers: and the impacts on human formation", located in the sphere of Portuguese language teaching and learning, within the scope of the Professional Master's Program in Letters — PROFLETRAS —, of the Federal University of Bahia, aims to evaluate how literary reading impacts the construction of the human being from meaningful readings, aiming at the fruition and mobilization of the fabulation inherent to human beings. The work has a purposeful character to be implemented in a class of the sixth year of Elementary School II, of the Municipal School Edivaldo Machado Boaventura, located in the municipality of Camaçari-Bahia, in the metropolitan region of Salvador. With this in mind, a book was chosen from the school’s collection, authored by Cidinha da Silva, entitled “Os Nove Pentes D’África”, with illustrations by Iléa Ferraz. The choice was made for the broad approach in the work of themes that involve ancestry, relationships between family members, and the varied feelings of continents in any human relationship. The activities will be carried out from workshops, since the genre opens a range of possibilities for the exercises of reading activities, as well as triggering both individual and socialized fabulation. The concepts of social and literary literacies used are based on the assumptions of Kleiman (1995), Soares (2003), Street (2014), Cosson (2009), Dalvi (2013).
