RESUMO:

This proposal aims to rebuild the Party of the Boy God, based on the registration and systematization of the “Presépio ou Baile de Deus Menino: um Natal brasileiro” by the ethnomusicologist Lydia Hortélio. It was held in the first cycle of elementary school at the Municipal School of the Lagoa do Abaeté, in Nova Brasília de Itapuã, in the city of Salvador / BA. It is an action research that aims, through the reconstruction of the Party of the Boy God, to promote creation processes with children based on the manifestations and cultural diversity of the Brazilian people, so that we can collectively experience intense moments of affectivity, musicality, games, plasticity that enable creative learning of authorship of oneself through playing. For this, the pastoral's scenic elements become essential in this research, as they celebrate, value being a child. The child we approach in this work is celebrated, celebrated, revealed as a symbolic configuration of the playing body as an expression of human culture.
