ACCESSIBLE THEATER CLASSES: A PROPOSAL FOR ALL BODIES
Theater; Inclusive education; Deaf teacher; Games; Accessible class.
This research reflects on the accessible theater classes at Escola Municipal Casa da Amizade, in inclusive classes of elementary school I, through the deaf theater teacher artist. It considers the inclusion of all bodies from the perspective of understanding cognitive and social development processes, guided by the principle of indivisibility of body/mind. It deals with education for children with specific educational needs, playfulness, games and sensitive mediation in theater class experiences. It encourages discussion about the educational process accessible to all bodies, which respects individual cognitive and expressive particularities, and also observes the infeasibility of applying practical research in remotely accessible theater classes.
