RESUMO:

ABSTRACT

 

The present work pertains to a doctorate research entitled “The techno-scene: arts as a politics of subjectivation”, whose scope is to study the questions related to the processes of subjectivation present in the cultural discursive practices of the theater companies “ATeliê voadOR Companhia de Teatro” and “Coletivo Artístico As Travestidas”, based on the shows “O Diário de Genet” and “BR-Trans”, respectively. This study was built from the problematization of the discursive practices of contemporary theater as a cultural artifact of production of desire and subjectivity, the theatrical act as a cultural politic that happens in fissure lines, and in the comprehension of theater as a nomad war machine that relates to the becoming-minoritarian’s potencies. This study is organized as an analysis of the theatrical production’s modes, focusing on the scenic assemblages of heterotopias. To that end, its methodological perspective it’s anchored from the postulates of Cultural Studies and Queer Theory, allied to the idea of Ecology of Knowledge (Southern Epistemology), in order to trace an analytical process about to crack, weirdness and deviations from the major methodological models, based on cultural and political contexts defined by the modern western Christian world, the colonialism and the capitalism. For all that, constitute itself as a methodological insurgency able to become effective in the analytics of the desires production in the contemporary theatrical scene. In its operational aspects, it is worth considering that this research was developed in the period from March 2014 to June 2019, at the Federal University of Bahia / UFBA, Institute of Humanities, Arts and Science Professor Milton Santos, Multidisciplinary Postgraduate Program in Culture and Society, in the line of research of culture and art, under the incentive of the Foundation for Research Support of the State of Bahia/FAPESB.
