EDITION AND PHILOLOGICAL CRITICISM OF ACYR CASTRO'S DRAMATURGIC PRODUCTION

This doctorate research, in progress, is insert on the philological field, along with another fields of knowledge, with the purpose of giving the theatral texts, produced by Acyr Castro in Bahia, during the Brazilian military dictatorship, for reading. by practicing edition and exercising the philological criticism, we applied the methodology used by the Grupo de Edição e Estudos de Textos (GEET). From the organization of the Acyr Castro Collection, integrant of the Arquivo Textos Teatrais Censurados (ATTC), and the reading of the textual materiality we can identify the agents and agencies that left a mark in them. That way, we can comprehend the process of production, transmission, circulation and reception that involves the theatral texts that compose this collection: O Homem Deus (HD), 1972; O maior espetáculo da Terra oferece: Cristo em todos os tempos (CTT), de 1976; e Bahia de quatrocentos e oitenta e dois janeiros (BQODJ), de 1982. We propose, on this qualification job, to introduce to the Acyr Castro Collection organization, using the contribution of the archival science, that consist on the identification, classification, cataloguing and description of each one of his monuments/documents, editing the text Bahia de quatrocentos e oitenta e dois janeiros (BQODJ), bringing, by textual tradition, the digital and interpretative texts, the draft of a proposing for elaboration of a hipertextual archive, and the critical-philological reading of the referred text.
