SUMMARY:

This text, prepared for the Qualification Exam, aims study the poetic work of Alcina Dantas. For that, twenty of his poems were selected for editing and critical-philological reading. As a theoretical-methodological contribution, we took the works of McGann (1992 [1983]), McKenzie (2018 [1986]), Carvalho (2002), Chartier (2002), Borges (2012; 2018; 2022), among others. It was sought, from the documents that make up the Alcina Dantas Collection, to bring to the scene a portion of the poetic work of this Bahian writer, under the bias of philological criticism in a sociological perspective, in view of the actions of the author/writer, of the editorial mediators and readers, considering the processes of production, transmission and reception of their texts. In addition to the interpretative and critical editions of the selected texts, an outline of the hyper-edition proposal that will be developed for publication in electronic format is presented.
