SUMMARY:

What is literary psychoanalysis? It is from this question that this doctoral thesis was born. It is an expression created by Lucia Castello Branco to allude to psychoanalysis, which has lyrics as its main theoretical operator and, in literature, combined with psychoanalysis, the foundations that support a practice of lyrics. We know that the articulations between literature and psychoanalysis are not recent, they have been happening since the beginning of psychoanalysis with Freud, and then with Lacan, and continue to happen with those who, following the Freudian and Lacanian paths, seek to create an epistemological bridge between these two fields. . The relational field between literature and psychoanalysis is, therefore, not new, unprecedented here is the suppression of the conjunction "and", insofar as by calling this encounter literary psychoanalysis, we adjective psychoanalysis and desubstantiate literature in order to propose a new approach to the studies of both literature and psychoanalysis, seeking to define ethical, political and poetic principles that can offer these two fields (and the world) new ways of reading, listening, writing and interpreting (the world). In this sense, by questioning how the device of literary psychoanalysis can operate in the literary text and in the psychoanalytic clinic, this research establishes transversal connections not only between literature and psychoanalysis, or between literary texts and a psychoanalytic reading involved with them, but also between cultural studies and ethical and political positions. The corpus is mainly composed of the works of Clarice Lispector and Carolina Maria de Jesus, especially because Clarice and Carolina are - and should be increasingly recognized as - literary interpreters of a people, the Brazilian people, and of a time, which is, simultaneously, the time in which they lived, wrote and published their books and the current one, ours. This is a research crossed by affection, the desire to create a living space that is simultaneously institutional, textual and loving in which literature and psychoanalysis can converge in this declining world, dreaming of a world to come.
