SUMMARY:

This work seeks to analize the parameters for capturing images of handwritten documents used by large research and editing centers. Presents two sections of the researching work in progress: in section 1, presents a theoretical discussion about the handwritten documents and the mains supposts besides Textual Criticism, Paleography and Diplomatics studies. At the same time, explain the differentation between transcription and edition. The section – 2, in turn, follows the same methodology and deepens the discussion around editions, demonstrating the main diferences some editions, focusing on fac-similar edition, as the main objective of our work.
