This research aims to investigate how the images of subjects entitled youtubers are discursively constituted, whose bodies are marked by tattoos and body piercing. It is characterized as an interpretive analytical study, whose corpus consists of videos that were posted by Internet users of the YouTube video platform between 2014 and 2018. Still dealing with the images that are investigated from this corpus, there was pay attention to the image of youtubers about the marked body and about the markings, in addition to the images of internet users about the markings. As a support to contribute in an elucidative way with the general objective and for specific objectives, the concepts arising from the theory of Discourse Analysis and Enunciation will be used, these are, respectively: imaginary formations, interdiscourse and discursive formation, memory and autonomic modality. Sociological and anthropological studies will also be mobilized in order to understand the trajectory of body marking and assist in the analyzes that will be made. The justification for the choice of videos for the corpus is related to a thematic cut of the aspects that interpretively stand out the most, in addition to these aspects being also fostered by the referential about the body. These aspects that organize the analyzes are: extensive body markings; body markings in adolescents; body markings and employment; body markings, health and pain. The consequences of the research were only possible, as it was used as a basis to guide the analysis and methodology, the assumptions for literature review arising from Pêcheux (1995, 1997b, 2010) and Authier-Revuz (1998,1999), being them referents to the linguistic cut. In the field of Sociology and anthropology, theoretical contributions were made through the considerations of Ferreira (2010, 2014), Hall (2006, 2011), Le Breton (2012, 2013). From the analysis, it was found that the images of the subjects marked on themselves, put them in the position of instructors, who mobilize knowledge and opinions in defense of the body's marking in order to establish rules of conduct for their Internet users to circumvent prejudice. Regarding the images of youtubers and Internet users about the content, the aesthetic perspective of tattooing and body piercing stands out, to the detriment of the vision of an instrument of revolt against a system of body control. However, the role of body markings stands out as a vehicle for re-signifying the existence of individuals, because as tattoos and body piercing fall within the scope of a desired aesthetic, they are always enunciated in the sense of fetishization, often linked to a bourgeois perspective on life. It is concluded that although the body markings are being reframed and spreading more and more among socially favored groups, the historical and discursive memory about their stigmas are still very recurrent, explaining the important role of digital platforms to combat prejudice, through dissemination of knowledge and different points of view on the topic. It also stands out as it is still present, in the speeches of the analyzed videos, how the sense of an important symbolic space of struggles for the constitution of new identities falls on the body.
