RESUMO:

The changes that take place in today's society reflect the constant technological innovations. Due to its nature and immersed in this reality of current technological celerity, language is also rapidly modified in contemporary society and its uses, in many contexts, is made through the so-called TDIC (Digital Information and Communication Technologies). This dissertation is devoted to reflection on the impact of TDICs on certain aspects of language teaching. More specifically, the discussion proposed here focuses on the investigation of how the use of HagáQuê software, which is designed for making comics in the computer, could contribute to the learning of writing and to the construction of authorship. The possibility of contributing to the formation of critical and autonomous individuals, in the context of the communicative processes, as well as in the valuation of access and practice of the various discursive genrers that materialize in society is also discussed. Thus, in summary, this study digress about a pedagogical intervention for textual production mediated by HagáQuê closely tostudents of the 6th year of a college of the state’s public network, located in Paripe, which is one of the neighborhoods that constitutes the so called “rail-far suburb” of Salvador-Ba.This research effort lies in the field of Applied Linguistics, adopting a qualitative interpretative approach, using, on the one hand, elements of the ethnography of school practices and on the other, concepts of action research. The set of instruments used for data generation consists of two questionnaires, observation and registring in activities  logbook, the application of a didactic sequence aiming at the students' textual production and finally, the texts produced by them. The theoretical perspective that supports the development of the research and the reflections woven here are centered in the conception of language / language and discourse genres developed by the Bakhtinian circle; in the study of literacy and multilearning; in the relations between writing and authorship. In addition, reflections on comics are presented as a genre currently used for language teaching and on the relationship between education and technology, based on the critical pedagogy proposed by Freire (2012, 2016). The analysis and discussion of the results reveal some of the potentialities and limitations in the textual production process measured by HagáQuê software. Potentialities focus on the possibilities of building mechanisms for collaborative, creative and critical work. The limitations relate to the mismatch between the inventiveness of the students and the reduced possibilities of the software.
