SUMMARY:

This research is inserted in the field of Applied Linguistics and is part of my teaching experiences during remote teaching, in the COVID-19 pandemic, through personal reports and memory clippings.  This is an autoethnographic research and has, in the evocation of memory and personal narratives, its methodological basis. The main objective is to understand and analyze, based on my reflections, my teaching during this period. atypical, as well as the consequences and impacts in the personal and teaching-learning spheres.  In this context, the need to review traditional and current forms of teaching came to light, placing new information technologies at the center of all teaching activities.  Thus, it is emphasized that the conception of language adopted here takes language as use, in the process of communicative interaction, whose theoretical redirection around language studies has been based, mainly, on the postulates of the Bakhtin Circle, according to which the Language is a form of interaction, as a social practice.  The theoretical basis goes through considerations of autoethnography, with Hayano (1979);  Adams, Jones &.  Ellis (2008);  Jones et al.  (2013);  Méndez (2013);  Mota (2020);  Takaki (2020), for considerations about memory and narrative research with Halbwachs (2013);  Catani et al.  (1993,1996, 1997);  Clandinin & Connelly (1995, 2000, 2011);  Godoy (1995);  Le Goff (1994);  Nora (1993);  Pollak (1989, 2010) and, on new technologies and the relationship with teaching-learning, with Prensk (2010);  Sancho (2006, 2008);  Skinner (1968,1971);  Hodges, Moore & Trust (2020).
