ANDEMIC MEMORIES IN A STATE SCHOOL IN THE INTERIOR OF BAHIA: (MULTI) DIGITAL LITERACIES AND TEACHER TRAINING

The present study was developed with the objective of identifying how the absence/presence of digital (multi)literacy impacted experiences and pedagogical practices through the adoption of remote teaching implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic, in a State School in the countryside of Bahia. To this end, this study is guided by the following southernizing questions: How was the routine of teachers impacted by the transition from in-person to remote teaching in the lives of teachers at Colégio Estadual de Junco during the isolation period established by the COVID-19 pandemic? How did initial and/or continuing teacher education enable the development of multiliterate practices in the classes at Colégio Estadual de Junco? How did teachers experience multiliteracies during the adoption of remote teaching? In this regard, in order to address the research questions, the adopted methodological approach is qualitative research, from an autoethnographic perspective, since it is also the purpose to investigate the subjective, social, and behavioral aspects of the individuals involved. Therefore, the combination of different data generation tools also allows for exploring my own experience in the face of the experiences and transformations imposed during the pandemic period and remote teaching, including: study of documents, such as 1) decrees and regulations implemented during the adoption of remote teaching; 2) questionnaires to be answered by the research participants, including the researcher; 3) semi-structured and individualized interviews; and 4) storytelling sessions about the pandemic period.
