SUMMARY:

This work presents part of a PhD thesis whose objective is to investigate from the lexicon, the dialectal areas proposed by Antenor Nascentes in the 50s, namely: Speak
Northeastern, Speaking Baiano, Speaking Mineiro, Speaking Fluminense, Speaking Southern and the Territory
Multivarietal, in an attempt to elucidate whether this path made by the eminent
dialectologist is confirmed. For the study, unpublished data extracted from the
corpus of the ALiB Project, which is a nationwide attempt in the area of Dialectology and which
its method is Pluridimensional Geolinguistics, which is based on a basic tripod,
defined by Cardoso (2010, p. 89), as a network of points, informants and questionnaires. In that
In this sense, to carry out this preliminary version of the thesis, a network of points was selected
composed of 142 locations, distributed in the South, Central-West and part of the Southeast of Brazil,
equivalent to Falar Mineiro, Falar Sulista, Falar Fluminense and Território
Multivarietal de Nascentes (1953). For this, three questions were used, from the Questionnaire
Semantic-Lexical – QSL, from the ALiB Project, which investigates the names attributed to “stars”,
more specifically questions 29, 30 and 31, with the contribution of 568
informants, stratified according to the aforementioned informant selection methodology
project, which considers sex (male and female) and two age groups (range I – 18
to 30 years and range II – 50 to 65 years). It is noteworthy that, for methodological reasons, the
schooling is not being monitored, as the answers given by the informants of the
capitals, with university education, were disregarded. The registered lexicon
in the sample, such as Estrela d’Alva and Estrela Cadente, was evaluated considering,
in addition to spatial distribution, the semantic-motivational aspects that may have favored,
in some way, the crystallization of these uses and were compared with studies of
Romano (2015), Cuba (2015), Alencar (2018) and Santos (2016), with regard to the areas of
speeches selected for this preliminary study. With the partial results found,

just as Ribeiro (2012) and Romano (2015) found, based on the Nascentes route
(1953).
