RESUMO:

The research is an exploratory study of an empirical nature and aims to analyze the process of institutionalization of use of the Journal Portal of the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel by the faculty of the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism of the Federal University of Bahia and identify the current phase of the process of institutionalization of the use of this tool as an instrument for access to information, as well as mapping the intraorganizational factors that may interfere in its adoption, from the perspective of Institutional Theory. The single case study used the technique of semi-structured interview for data collection and the method of content analysis for data analysis. The results of the research showed that some intraorganizational factors made it difficult to institutionalize the use of the Journal Portal in full in the Post-Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism of the Federal University of Bahia.
