RESUMO:

This research, entitled nobody lets go of anybody's hand: the Ciranda by Lia de Itamaracá from the perspective of Ethnocenology and dance creation, is about the dance of the Ciranda, especially the circles presided over by the cirandeira Lia de Itamaracá, which take place on the coast Pernambuco, located on Jaguaribe beach, municipality of Ilha de Itamaracá. With its first literary records dating from the beginning of the 20th century, this dance incorporates the social and cultural practices of the Pernambuco beach region around the 1960s. This look also discusses what this dance unveils since its first records in Pernambuco, at the beginning from the 20th century to the present time. Ciranda is understood here as an expression that involves music and dance; on this we propose to deal with more diligently. Thus, this dance has the circle as an event space, in which the dancers are people who attend festivities in which the masters/the cirandeiros/singers pull the singing. We understand that the Ciranda dance has its bases in Pernambuco with the playful rural workers of the sugar mills, especially in the Pernambuco forest area, which was populated by blacks who were enslaved. Such information makes me wonder: why was Ciranda then located with Portuguese origin if its signs in Pernambuco are different from this whitened line? Will we continue to write about a single bias? Who is this homogeneous discourse interested in? Discussions of ethnicity and its consequences permeate the investigative line of this research. We also propose to discuss the spectacularity found in Ciranda de Lia de Itamaracá from the ethnocenological aspects in order to create an aesthetic, conceptual and theoretical intersection between the researcher's perception and the phenomenon studied, discussing its current cultural and inventive elements. We analyze Ciranda from a 'spectacular' configuration that appears dissociated from everyday actions and composes a scenic elaboration. The results of this research are the bibliographical production of ciranda from a diasporic context, the discussion of its aesthetic structure and the pedagogical proposition in educational spaces in the teaching of popular dances having the creative process as a practice.
