RESUMO:

Because of the incidence of the stigma and of discrimination, many People Living With the HIV/Aids (PLWHA) assume isolation as the main way of life, suffering as a result of it, the frailty, or even the breaking of emotional bonds. Considering that many of them do not tell about the diagnosis even to their relatives, its noticed that isolation tends to make even greater proportions. This reality became notorius in the assistance provided the SAE/CTA of Alagoinhas-Ba, due to the difficulty of forming therapeutic groups and promoting meetings that would contribute to the construction of the collective subject related to this audience. Therefore, the challenges posed to the social interaction of PLWHA were identified, and the possible gains from promoting this interaction, concerning both self-care stimulus and therapeutic accession, as well as deal with isolation, stigma and discrimination. The study, carried out through exploratory research, took place at Associação Abraço, located in Lisbon, Portugal, by interviewing users and professionals, and analysis of documents, which allowed the identification of the interaction strategies offered. The final product of this study is the proposal to develop a social network in the Interactive Virtual Environment (IVE) format, using a PWAtype aplication, developed on the WEB platform.
