SUMMARY:

The research proposed a mapping of entrepreneurial skills in young protagonists who are part of Alagados Community Tourism - ACTOUR, which is part of REPROTAI, located on the Itapagipana Peninsula in Salvador/BA. The territory of Itapagipe has 14 neighborhoods with potential for community tourism, however, it is historically marked by social and racial inequality, despite the community's confrontation. Social management as a principle for territorial development was the fundamental theory to study the skills that emerge from youth protagonism from community tourism actions in the territory. Therefore, the objective was to examine the development of entrepreneurial skills based on community-based tourism actions in the Itapagipe Peninsula led by young people. Qualitative research was carried out through a single case study, with the researcher acting as a non-participant observer, in addition to interviews with young people and managers and documentary analysis. The results showed that the development of entrepreneurial skills at ACTOUR occurs through experience combined with knowledge offered by the institution in a shared and dialogic way with various social actors and partnerships, breaking with traditional banking teaching, thus seeking collective interests, dialogicity, emancipation and resistance for its re-existence. It is suggested that there is a need for new studies on the development of entrepreneurial skills in Community Tourism and in other institutions with a social focus with the aim of giving visibility and developing entrepreneurial skills in order to enhance talents in the community, seeking personal growth and the protagonism of the future itself.
