Terreiro Mokambo, Ndanji Goméia (descendant of Gomeia): nguzo Malunda bantu (the strength of the Bantu tradition)

Historical research in primary and secondary sources, with the general objective of promoting the dissemination of knowledge about the contributions of the Bantu people to the Brazilian structural matrix, knowledge that was preserved in the candomblé terraces. In the landmarks of the narrative itself, a historical research and a singular case study of Terreiro Mokambo was developed in the treatment of historical preservation and traditional knowledge. Over time the Terreiros preserve orally divine, medicinal, social knowledge, they are repositories of knowledge that are lost by the forgetfulness and loss of older, unique holders of knowledge. The researcher involved is the Taata do Terreiro Mokambo establishes other paths of historical preservation. Narrating his life of encounter with bantu culture tailored historical research with the line of human right to memory and history building what he called Afro-Brazilian history. The specific objectives of: mapping the contributions of the Terreiros of Congo Angola headquarters in Bahia; to raise the social museology activities of Terreiro Mokambo; to present the case of Terreiro Mokambo, its structuring, functioning and traditions as a place of memory, history and preservation of the bantu ancestral knowledge; reaffirms the needs of the Terreiros to adopt the museological practices of preservation of Terreiro Mokambo.
