The present thesis under the title “Didactic Proposal Based on Teaching History and Geography: application in Cabula schools to mobilize community-based tourism”, linked to the DMMDC program, has as a research problem that there is no didactic proposal based on teaching History and applied geography in the municipal schools of Cabula, which mobilizes for community-based tourism. With the general objective, to build a didactic proposal based on the teaching of History and Geography in the municipal schools of Cabula, aiming at a community-based education for tourism. The approach used to construct the context was dialectical historical materialism, through the Application Research method, known as Design Based-Research (DBR), which provides for the development of improvement and application cycles, adjustment, refinement and evaluation of the prototype developed at based on theoretical principles modeled and applied in two school units in the city of Salvador. As a theoretical framework, Socioconstructivism was adopted as an epistemological basis; the learning objectives of the components of History and Geography with a focus on the territory of Cabula; and the principles of Community Based Tourism. And, the results obtained were the creation of a didactic proposal based on the Teaching of History and Geography, as an educational alternative implicated in the context of        Cabula quilombo territory that sustains the mobilization for community-based tourism. Emphasizing that another significant result was its validation by teachers from municipal units.
