SUMMARY:

This research is inscribed in the dimension of practice as research, in which empirical experiences are the protagonists of the investigation. Thus, the theoretical-analytical framework is based on the study of the concept of circus scenic writing, with which the processes of dramaturgical composition in contemporary circuses are analyzed. Thus, articulated, dialogued and designed from the theoretical-methodological perspectives emerged from the author's own experiences, during the investigative practical laboratories of creation of the work Por um Fio. In this sense, the research turned to three questions: What is a circus scenic writing? What are the possible procedures for its composition in contemporary circuses? How does the dramaturgical creative path of an authorial circus take place? The investigative path goes through a deepening regarding the artistic practice in aerial, specifically about the smooth rope, which led to the generation of an authorial textual writing and a performing scenic experiment, integral parts of this study.
