RESUMO:

This dissertation generated from bibliographic consultations and through a descriptive - qualitative process aims to understand the intersection of the protagonism of black women, and their insurgencies in the face of the genocide of black youth, through the case study of the show Antônia, reinterpretation of the Greek tragedy Antígona, Sophocles and the proposition of tragicity through the bias of afroperspectivity. Emphasizing the narrative developed by the character Esmera, starting from the correlation of my artistic practice and my experience as a woman, black woman and actress. As well, evidencing two interlocutors - black, peripheral women, who present in their history of existence, actions and developments similar to those experienced by the character "Antônia". As a case study, I use interviews and observations as a participant in the show. The main purpose of which is to reflect on the updating of a Greek myth from the perspective of black feminism.
