RESUMO:

It is a practical-theoretical investigation driven by the main question-passport: How

does an actress create through images? Inspired by the Artistic-Comprehensive approach
proposed by Prof. Dr. Sonia Rangel, the actress proposes to play with see her personal
cosmos, starting from the exercise of scenic creation in specific laboratories to rehearse
a multiplicity of responses. In the poetic journey, scenes were born concomitant to the
creation of his dramatic writing, which also composes the thesis, assuming a lyrical
form in a Contingent Dramaturgy that generated a staging. Entitled Telescopes for Open
Space, a staging, which is both the object and goal of this research, completed a season
of ten performances at Teatro Martim Gonçalves The methodology comprises: internal
and open laboratories; in addition to five compositional strategies articulated by the
researcher: Place to Spy, Questions-Passport (RANGEL: 2009), Poesguia, Altars-
Installation and Image Generation. As Guiding Principles of the creative path stand out:
The Thinking by Images, The Exercise of the Transver, The Mythopoietic and The
Experience. It is also supported by the principle of Reverie as a motion force in the
creative process, peeking out as possible insurgencies in the generation of Images,
especially in the Mythopoietic Figures, which make up the actress' doubles on stage.
These figures, called Lunetas (Telescopes): Suzana, Kassandra and Lilith Myth, in their
interactions with the viewer, trigger the captivating-moving function as a way of
activating affections. In her journey, the actress makes a study about herself in order to
stage her thought-creation, recognizing the modes of operation of her scenic poiesis
with Images, forging her look as an actress-poet.The search dialogues, among other
fields, with the Theories of the Imaginary, with Lyric Literature, with Contemporary
Theater and with Analytical Psychology; in line with the thinking of theorists and poets,
such as: Adélia Prado, Alba Liberato, Carl G. Jung, Cleise Mendes, Gaston Bachelard,
Jorge Larossa, Joseph Campbell, Lita Passos, Manoel de Barros, Matteo Bonfitto,
Fernando Pessoa, Paul Zumthor, Peter Brook, Sonia Rangel, among others. All steps are
documented in videos and photographs available on the attached DVD. It is hoped that
the sharing of this creative path aims to inspire other artists who wish to investigate
their own poetics as an object of study in or outside the academy.
