RESUMO:

 

This thesis, inscribed as a desire for research, proposes looking at the theaters of the real (Saison, 1998) as possible paths in the construction of an affective resonance (Pais, 2018) between actor and spectator. Considering the object of the research as an interdisciplinary field, its presentation was divided into four articles calling on each of them independent but complementary notions, ranging from the performing theater to the neurosciences. They are: the one who sees, the presence, the experience and the meaning. The first article is based, rather, on the need to question the term spectator in favor of the activity of the one who sees, reconsidering its fundamental role in the theatrical event. The second and third articles address, respectively, the works of the Ateliê 23: Persona group as a possibility of producing presence (Gumbrecht, 2010) through the enative theory / enation (Varela, 1992) as an axis of analysis and Helena, in the construction of experience , based on the reading of the phenomenology of perception (Merleau-Ponty, 2011). The fourth and last one calls for the production of meaning as an activity of mirror neurons - fundamental to the idea of empathy as recognition of oneself in the other (Muse, 2012; Gallese and Freedberg, 2007). The investigation is based on revisiting the creative path of the works, observing documents of the process, trends and spontaneous testimonies of people in the audience, from the perspective of criticizing creative processes (Salles, 1998). It also considers research guided by practice (Haseman, 2015) as a method of revisiting and uses the bibliographic review of concepts that develop new relationships with the one who sees, as the precarious condition of life (Butler, 2011; 2015) and aesthetics shock (Féral, 2012), in search of collective affectation. It concludes that the use of the living document on the scene, in order to build a new link with the one who sees, reverberates in the perception of consciousness (Damasio, 2000), as a political act of existence and survival.
