In this increasingly complex economic and financial scenario worldwide, financial education becomes profitable. In Brazil, in the first years of the 1990’s, there was a significant change in the consumption behavior of the population and it became necessary to insert initiatives that could promote financial literacy. However, only in 2010, the Brazilian government instituted the ENEF (National Strategy for Financial Education) and the first financial education programs for adults, adolescents and children emerged. Motivated by this context, in 2015, Helyos School decided to implement the Financial Education Program for students from the 2º year to 5º year as a curricular component of the bilingual project. The evaluation of the level of financial knowledge acquired by the participants in the financial education program was the objective of this work. Therefore, a ludic evaluation instrument was developed to be able to capture the level of financial knowledge of the participants, who are from seven to eleven years old. After construction and application of the evaluation instruments, the results analysis was performed and it was verified that participating in the financial education program is directly proportional to the learning expectations evidenced in the school's curriculum. However, limitations in this research are related to financial knowledge that may not have been adequately captured; the inexistence of a control group; a longitudinal analysis which participants are assessed as they progress to the next school year; and a socioeconomic, family, and cultural analysis of the context.
